Diversity scholarship

Because I have experience growing up in a medically underserved community and working heavily in clinical settings with adjacent communities, I am a huge advocate for cultural humility in the medical field. This is why I feel so passionately about this program and the opportunity it provides students to travel and immerse themselves in a world culture that they may be unfamiliar with.

Merit scholarship

I have so much respect for those who dedicate years of their lives to developing their knowledge of the human body and being able to confidently step into the operating room and have someone else's life in their hands.

Scholarship Tips & Program Prices

  • Apply for Scholarships: Take advantage of the available merit and diversity scholarships to reduce your program costs. Be sure to submit your application early to meet the deadlines.

  • Budget for Essentials: Plan your budget for essential expenses such as meals, transportation, and personal items. While some meals and local transportation are included, others may not be, so it’s important to factor them into your finances.

  • Consider Currency Exchange Rates: Exchange rates can fluctuate, so monitor them ahead of your trip. You may want to exchange currency before leaving or use a credit card that offers favorable exchange rates with no foreign transaction fees.

  • Look into Student Discounts: Italy offers various student discounts for transportation, museums, and local attractions. Be sure to carry your student ID with you to take advantage of these discounts.

  • Consult with Your University’s Financial Aid Office: Some universities offer financial aid or funding options for study abroad programs. Check with your school to see if there are any additional opportunities to receive financial support.

  • Payment Plans Tailored to Your Needs: We understand that managing finances for an international program can be a challenge. That’s why we offer flexible payment plans tailored to your needs. If you’re interested in a payment plan, simply let your admission coordinator know, and we’ll work with you to create a plan that fits your budget.
