Apply for Scholarships: Take advantage of the available merit and diversity scholarships to reduce your program costs. Be sure to submit your application early to meet the deadlines.

Flexible Payment Plans: We know covering an international program can be challenging, so we offer payment plans to fit your budget. Just let your admission coordinator know if you’re interested, and we’ll help set it up.

Check with Your Financial Aid Office: Many universities offer funding for study abroad. Ask your school if additional support is available.

Budget for Essentials: Some meals and local transport are included, but be sure to plan for extra meals, transport, and personal expenses.

How we can support you

Doctors in Italy Scholarships support students with an international mindset and a passion for healthcare, helping them join the Doctors in Italy Fellowship Program — a study abroad experience tailored to their career goals.

A limited number of scholarships are available for selected applicants. To apply, please check the requirements and instructions below and submit your application by email (not through the Apply button above). Be sure to read all instructions carefully before applying.

What you need before applying

In order to be considered for a scholarship you will need to be enrolled in a Doctors in Italy Program. Here's the complete process up to your scholarship application:

Complete your application for a Doctors in Italy Fellowship Program. If you qualify, you’ll be invited to attend an interview with our Admissions team.

Within 10 days after your interview, you will be notified of our final decision regarding your application. If you are accepted into the program, you will be invited to pay a €300 deposit to secure your spot.

At this point, you will receive instructions on how to apply for a scholarship.

Advice for scholarship applicants

The deadline is November, 15 2024 for winter programs and April 15, 2025 for summer programs, and only accepted fellows can apply. Send in your application soon!

If you qualify for both, you can send one application for both scholarship types. Focus on yourself, what makes you special, your individual contribution to the world you live in.

Talk about yourself in the most honest and genuine way, if you are selected it will be thanks to this.
