The Rome program for aspiring veterinarians offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a wide range of animals, including farm animals and wildlife. Participants will gain hands-on experience in animal care, shadow veterinarians, and visit animal sanctuaries, clinics, and research centers in and around Rome.

Most commonly, participants stay in shared apartments with double rooms, equipped with amenities like air conditioning, Wi-Fi, private bathrooms, and even kitchens and living rooms.
