Shadowing Veterinarians at Rescues, Sanctuaries and Veterinary Clinics
🐾 Rome Animal Care Program – More Than Just Vet Shadowing
Dreaming of working with animals? Whether you’re into vet med, biology, ecology, or zoology, the Rome program is your backstage pass to the animal care world!
You’ll get hands-on with farm animals, wildlife, and rescue cases—shadowing vets, visiting sanctuaries, clinics, and research centers around the Eternal City.
What’s in store?
Meet goats, pigs, and donkeys with stories of survival at Santuario Capra Libera Tutti and Rifugio Hope
Observe real-life procedures and diagnostics at top-notch facilities like Policlinico Polivet
Explore how conservation and care go hand in hand with visits to museums and research projects
This isn’t just about watching—it’s about doing. You’ll build skills, connect with passionate pros, and dive deep into what animal welfare truly means, all while soaking up Rome’s iconic culture (and pasta).
🦙 Ready to turn your passion into purpose? Rome is waiting.
