Shadowing Animal Care Professionals at Rescues and Sanctuaries
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure with the Florence program! You’ll spend your days surrounded by rescued animals, learning how to care for and support their recovery while soaking up the beauty of the Tuscan countryside.
At Italian Horse Protection in the charming village of Montaione, you’ll dive into the world of horses and discover what it takes to care for these majestic animals.
At Ohana rescue, meet over 220 farm animals and hear their incredible stories of rescue and recovery.
Then head to Oasi Lipu Massaciuccoli, a nature park and wildlife clinic, where you’ll help care for migratory birds and learn the basics of wildlife first aid.
You’ll also take part in conservation projects and museum visits that open your eyes to the wonders of biodiversity and environmental research. It’s hands-on, heartwarming, and seriously inspiring.
