Hospital Shadowing
Istituto Nazionale per lo Studio e la Cura dei Tumori “Fondazione Giovanni Pascale”
The Naples program offers a shadowing opportunity at the National Institute for the Study and Treatment of Tumors “Giovanni Pascale Foundation.” Founded in 1933, the institute serves as the regional reference center for the diagnosis and treatment of neoplastic diseases, conducting diagnostic/staging, therapeutic, and oncological follow-up activities.
By integrating both experimental and clinical research endeavors with high-complexity, high-quality healthcare services, it holds a significant position among healthcare institutions in Southern Italy, particularly in the realm of oncology. Additionally, the Institute is a part of the national network for rare diseases.
It was also the first Italian oncology institute to establish an organization in Organ Departments, where Oncologists, Surgeons, Radiation Therapists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, and Pathologists could work together to assess, monitor, and treat, each according to their expertise, the same diseases in order to channel various disciplinary knowledge to improve diagnostic and therapeutic outcomes.

Visitors are enchanted by its narrow vivid streets, grand piazzas, and majestic landmarks such as the Royal Palace of Naples and the Castel dell’Ovo.
Naples is renowned for its culinary delights, and proudly wears the crown of being the birthplace of pizza where the aroma of the authentic Neapolitan pizza can be felt in every corner.
