Hospital and Outpatient Shadowing
The Padua program offers a unique shadowing experience at the Veneto Oncology Institute (IOV – IRCCS), the region’s leading center dedicated to cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and research.
Recognized nationally and internationally, IOV combines cutting-edge techniques in immunology, genetics, and molecular oncology to deliver top-tier care. As a Ministry of Health–certified institute, it follows the latest global standards, offering students a front-row seat to innovative cancer care and research.

*Note that program start date listed is always a Sunday and your housing is available from that day. The first day of shadowing is the Monday after move in day. The last day of the program stated is always a Saturday and housing is booked for you up until this morning. The last day of shadowing is the Thursday of that week. The last Friday is kept for final packing and personal tasks, therefore you can checkout on Friday instead of Saturday if that is preferable for you.
