Discover Bari

Nestled on the sun-kissed shores of the Adriatic Sea, Bari is a Southern Italian city that gracefully blends its rich historic past with a vibrant, modern present. Known as the “Gateway to the East” due to its long tradition of trade, Bari astonishes travelers with its captivating fusion of cultures. Bari Vecchia, the historic heart of the city, is famous for its narrow, winding streets and medieval architecture.

Wandering through this labyrinthine neighborhood feels like a journey through time. The grand Basilica di San Nicola, home to the relics of Saint Nicholas, is a testament to the city’s deep-rooted religious heritage. The old streets host trendy boutiques, art galleries, and chic cafes, while the famous Bari promenade provides breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea. Nearby, be spoilt for choice with day trips to some of the best beaches in the whole country. Bari is not just a city; it’s a vibrant celebration of Italy’s southern coastal charm, welcoming all who visit with open arms.
